SLP Short Shifter with Leather Shift Knob

The stock shifter sucks.  Long, inaccurate throws.  Why do you think you can get a factory optional Hurst shifter now.  Actually, the factory Hurst shifter (not the aftermarket one) is almost the same as the SLP unit, including the leather Hurst knob.

Shifts are much shorter than stock.  The shift to 6th gear used to be kind of inaccurate, and I would sometimes hit 4th if I wasn't paying attention.  This totally solved that problem.  It uses the factory shift handle (or you can buy Lou's SS like I did).  The knob is nice, with a good grip and good feel.  At $130 for both, it is the best priced shifter on the market.
