Autometer Gauges

Aftermarket gauges rock.  They tell you stuff factory gauges can't, and look really trick.  I went with Autometer Gauges (doesn't everyone?).  I have the Ultra-Lite series.  They seem to look the best out of all of Autometer's line.  Their silver color really stands out too.

So, what gauges do I have.  In the center A/C / Heater vent, I have a 2 5/8" N2O pressure gauge.

It fits like a glove.  Just pop the plastic vent part out and push the gauge in.  It is really that easy.  Running the line and wiring for the lighting was simple too.  Not cutting or anything.

In my A-pillar, I have a fuel pressure gauge and an air-to-fuel ratio gauge.  The FP gauge is a short sweep kind, which is really only good for telling if your FP is way off.  Eventually, I'll upgrade to a full sweep (they are much more expensive, since I will only use electric FP gauges for safety reasons).  The A/F ratio gauge is only good a WOT, and even then, is only marginally accurate.  Not the gauge's fault, it is to do with factory O2 sensors.  It sure look neat though.  I always get questions about my gauges, and these two are the ones asked about.  People always ask why I have two fuel gauges (which, of course, I tell them it is fuel pressure, not fuel level).  And they always ask what the A/F gauge is for, and why it sweeps back and fourth (because computer is constantly varying the A/F ratio).

The FP and N2O gauges also have custom backlighting (A/F gauge doesn't have a backlight since it has colored LED's).  They come w/ white lights, which are way too bright and don't match the interior.  I replaced them with red lights to match the rest of the interior lighting.  It looks really cool, and doesn't blind you at night.
