American Bass 100HC
This is the amp I will be using to power my subs, once I buy and install them.

I bought this amp used, and got a good deal on it (guy works at a high-end car stereo dealer).  I have heard several cars with this amp (one running 4 Cerwin-Vega Stroker 18's, one of these bad boys dropped to 1 ohm mono per voice coil!!!).  Did I mention how much power these things have?  At 4 ohm stereo, it is rated at 50x2 watts RMS (yeah, right).  At 1 ohm mono, it puts out over 1,200 watts RMS.  I think one magazine rated it at 1,236 watts RMS.  But it is a Class A amp, and do they suck up the power!

I had an AB 200.2XE, and that amp was bad.  I ran it harder than it was rated, and the thing never even overheated (I ran it hard for over an hour w/ a sheet over it, and it only got fairly warm to the touch).  I abused that amp, and it took it with a smile.  I never should have sold it.
